| You’re No Buddy ‘Til You’re a Sun Buddy The Sunrise has evolved into a thriving performing arts center offering the very best in independent films, community theater, dance and music. The theater strives to present entertainment for all ages and tastes, showcasing both local and national talent. Available for rent to individuals, groups, schools, etc. the theater has been used for fundraisers, benefits and even weddings! The Sunrise exists today through the generosity of its supporters. Capital campaign contributions have allowed the SPG to make needed improvements and additions to the building including a state-of-the-art projection system, refurbishments to the lobby and auditorium and, most recently, a first-class security and fire alarm system. An ongoing Chair Campaign helped the theater to replace many of the older, hard auditorium seats with comfortable new seating. To date over 125 chairs have been named. New chairs are still needed! For a tax-deductible contribution of $200, you may purchase a seat bearing a plaque honoring the person of your choice. Sun Buddies is a grassroots effort to reach out to the community and encourage folks to partner with the Sunrise at an affordable level of giving. For as little as $25 each year, you can be a Sun Buddy! As a token of our thanks, you will receive a Sunrise window decal so you can declare your support.
