We've done it!!!! Generous friends of the Sunrise Theater have contributed $68,792.

Our goal was to convert our projection equipment to the new Digital Cinema Technologies by the end of 2013, or as soon as possible.  We were originally estimating this as a $75,000 project, but when our final quote came in a bit less we were able to stop our fundraising efforts and move forward with Digital Conversion immediately thanks to the $68,000 raised by our loyal patrons, individual donors and the generosity of this community. The new technology will allow us to continue to show quality first run films that without the conversion would be impossible.
